Revelation Powder Coating
Revelation Powder Coating provides sandblasting, painting, and powder coating services. Each of these
comes bundled with our sincerely commitment to quality and customer service.
To ensure that our products meet our customers’ expectations, Revelation Powder Coating pays special
attention to the preparation of the pieces prior to coating. We diligently prepare each piece for coating
using a 7 step process.
First, the metal is blasted to remove any mill scale or rust and leave a light texture for better powder
adhesion (this step can be skipped with some new, clean metal). Following this step the metal is sent
through our five tank process to remove any containments from the surface of the metal. Even small
amounts of dust or oils simply from touching the metal can cause the finish to not last as long as it
should. Finally all parts are rinsed with deionized water to remove even the smallest and most stubborn
particles. Our careful attention to these initial steps is vital to ensure the longest possible life from the
final coat.
After drying the part it is ready for coating. For those applications where the piece will be exposed to
environmental extremes we recommend and will apply a zinc undercoat for even greater corrosion
protection.
